Here are a few of the students comments and thoughts on the training at the APTC.
"I went into this experience blind and unsure about the industry. With hard work, clear and professional training by the instructors, I feel very confident about a successful career in the oilrig industry. If you’re looking for a new experience with a large opportunity of advancement, start with APTC."

"I found that the training provided during the course was very well organized and the instructors were easy to get along with. I found that they explained all of the procedures and training activity very well and everything was easy to understand. For anyone looking to get a job in the oil industry, I highly recommend the Atlantic Petroleum Training College. The training and instructors are excellent!"

"I found this course very interesting and helpful. The instructors were very helpful and educated. There wasn’t a question that we had that the one of the instructors couldn’t answer. I would also like to say that anyone thinking about going to the oilfield to seek employment, this is the way to go. I personally wouldn’t want to go out to the rigs without knowing what I learned at APTC."
– Wayne Hatcher Class of 2006, Floorhand
"The roughneck course is a 14 day course that gives you training on what your responsibilities will be on a rig. The instructors were very knowledgeable on rig operations. I would not want to go out there on the rigs without this course. I would strongly recommend anyone seeking employment on the rig to take this course."
– Jason Kane Class of 2006, Floorhand
"The Atlantic Petroleum Training Course is without a doubt an educational experience of a life-time. The hands-on training is second to none, extremely informative and a real eye opener. I would definitively recommend this training course to anyone who is interested in the oil and gas industry.
I completely walked into this program blind and by the end became overwhelmed by the aggressive training and mechanical workings of the rig.
This is an excellent learning experience, where you find out how far the limits of the body can be pushed. I have the confidence and drive after completing the course. I am ready to succeed in the oil and gas industry."

"I would like to thank APTC for their “Condensed Roughneck” course and my entry into the world of oil and gas.
The hands-on training made it possible for me to acquire the skills and terminology necessary to succeed. With the instructors you will learn firsthand that safety, procedures and a lot of muscle should get you by.
You will also receive accreditations for other courses, i.e. First Aid, Air Brakes, H2S Alive. These will definitely look great on your resume.
All in all, APTC rocks!!!"

"This is a letter of note to let you know that the Swamper Oilfield Services course at Atlantic Petroleum Training College proved to be an accurate, positive course. Everything from the tire chains to sling identification helped with my job in Alberta.
The job placement after the course was completed by Associated Oilfield Employment Services and I am happy and grateful that I was offered a job so quickly after the course was complete. This helped me and my family in the best possible way and I highly recommend this to anyone that asks what I do for a living. I like to send my sincere thanks. Thanks again for the opportunity for a better life."

"APTC provided me with a good basis of knowledge and practical experience with oilrig equipment and procedures. Both instructors were very knowledgeable about the material covered, and were also an excellent source of information regarding life as a roughneck. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in a career in the oil and gas industry. It is definitely not for everyone, but APTC provides the grounds, equipment, and information necessary to make the decision. The roughneck training program teaches you as much about yourself, and your abilities, and what you can achieve as it does about the actual job and job duties. I feel confident about obtaining employment in the oil and gas industry with this training."
